An Update and a Challenge

First I wanted to update everyone on the status of our health ... we just can't keep the temperatures down! Just when I start to think things are looking up for one kiddo another one heads downhill! I thought we finally had Ashton under control today (staying below 100) and then she was back up to 101.5 by bedtime. Brinley finally came below the 100 degree mark only to be back up to 101.9 (she hit as high as 104.1 last night). Cougar hit the 102.8 mark just before bed, too. We've been through 2 bottles of Motrin in 3 days. I feel like all I am constantly checking temperatures - I'm surprised I haven't had to change the batteries in my thermometer yet! Looks like a trip to the doctor is in order for tomorrow and we are anticipating strep throat (based on the looks of things). At least we will have a diagnosis and then we can treat it. Only problem now is Steve woke up to chills and aches today - Oye!!

I took some needed time to myself today - without a thermometer or medicine dropper in hand - to scrap! There was a challenge posted over on our message board at Jessica Sprague to do a scraplift of this layout. I used some of the pictures from the Hannah Montana concert to complete this one. It is really simple but I like the way it turned out. I really want to try and complete some type of scrapping challenge each week. There are so many challenge blogs and message boards at different digi sites as well as our MB at JS that post multiple weekly challenges so it should be easy to find something to work on. Don't worry ... you'll get to see ;)

oh Kari! You sound just like me a few weeks ago!!! That was the main thing with Amy being so sick. I could NOT keep that temperature down. I think it is the nature of the particular bug going around.

I truly hope that everyone is back to 100% and soon!

Hang in there and invest in some batteries for the thermometer. LOL

Love this LO! Since it applies to me too, will you share it with me? ;)

Good luck at the doc's office. Hopefully you can get some medication and the kids will be back in school soon.

Kari, I hope your house can get over this sickness soon. Doesn't sound like you guys are having a lot of fun.

On the other hand, your layout looks like lots of fun! I am in the middle of doing this challenge.

Cool photos of you and your concert :) To add to that...tag you are it :)
These are the rules: You must post the rules before you give your answers. You must list one fact about yourself for each letter of your middle name. Each fact must begin with that letter. If you don't have a middle name, just use your maiden name. After you've been tagged, you need to up-date your blog with your middle name and answers. At the end of your post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and need to read your blog for details.

Love the Hannah Montana layout! I'm saving this one for inspiration. I'm the other Rockin' Mom who took my daughter to HM in December. Did you frame this one for your girls?
