Cool Video

My friend Angela posted this YouTube video on her blog last week and I just had to copy!! This is one of the most fascinating and funny things I've watched in a while. Well worth the 2 minutes. Then again, all I've watched in the past little while is the thermometer go up and down with the dosing of Motrin and Tylenol. Things are looking up here and I think we may just have this fever/flu thing beat ... almost. Cougar has been the worst off lately and was up to 104 and 105 degrees a few days ago. Worst part, of course, was him not wanting to eat or sleep well. I am happy to report his temp is staying below 101 now and he actually slept until almost 7:30 this morning! I actually got to sleep in my bed all night rather than in the recliner with a fevered and restless baby (which equates to NOT sleeping). Steve saw the doctor yesterday and is getting a referral to see an ENT about having his tonsils removed - yes, something that should have been done well before the age of 35. His primary care doc recommended it so we'll wait to see what the ENT says. We know the recovery time will be miserable but I imagine it can be no worse that what he goes through several times a year with his tonsils now. Thanks for all of the prayers and well wishes on our family's behalf. And thanks so much for your comments ... every time I get an e-mail with your comments it brings a smile to my face ... and often a giggle, too!

OOh!!! I've heard tonsils are miserable!!!! Especially when you get older!!! Bryan is always having problems with his too! Hello, Pam still has her wisdom teeth!!! Crazy stuff that! Well I hope all those kiddies get better, it sounds miserable! As for project runway, I don't really have a favorite either, Yes, Christian bugs and same with Romi(he always drapes everything). I like Chris just because he seems like a fun person and sometimes I really like sweet pea's stuff, but I don't know!!! I really judge when I see their entire line!!

Wow--Kari--I'm glad that things are looking up a bit in your house...Poor Cougar--it is the worst for our little babes.

ooh--I know, tonsils are not fun when they don't behave...

well wishes for all of you--have a "restful" weekend!

Fun video, Kari! BTW, I love your new header - it looks great! I hope your family gets better soon....there's been *stuff* going around here, too, but so far Alex has escaped it. Whew!

I love this video! I saw it before. So stinkin funny. I love how people act like they are in some sort of altered universe. Poor Steve and his tonsils. My friend had hers removed a couple of years ago. She was in the same boat. I know it took her awhile to recover, but it was well worth it.

Kari - I loved the video on Angela blog too. I hope the kids are finally starting to feel better and I hope your hubby has an easy time with his tonsils. I had mine removed when I was 5 - and lo and behold they grew back! I had an argument with my ENT until he finally showed me how big they were! Who knew they could grow back!!! Well needless to say - I still have them. (big chicken that I am)

Thanks for sharing the video! Always amazes me the power of numbers. If just one person stood "frozen", no one would have given a second look. A hundred people together doing the same thing and it's hard not to notice!
Glad to hear that most of your family is on the road to recovery. You are going to need a week just recover from all your sleepless nights.
