1. When I was in Jr. High I trained as a figure skater. I trained at the same rink as Tonya Harding and even shared ice time with her on a few occasions. She was really just as mean and ugly to people as she seemed!
2. I learned to drive a stick shift on a Porsche 928. I've since learned that if I could drive that thing I can drive ANY stick shift out there!!
3. I worked at Toys 'R Us and collected TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) when I was in High School. Yes, I was that lame.
4. I served a mission for my church in Iowa and got to visit the Field of Dreams movie site. I even got to run the bases!5. I love the Caribbean Passion smoothie from Jamba Juice. Lucky for me I have a friend who used to work there and shared the recipe with me!! Now I'm saving myself a fortune and can make them just big enough to hit the spot without consuming a days worth of calories!
6. Speaking of calories ... I could eat at The Training Table everyday! Good thing I don't live in Utah anymore or I would weigh 300 pounds!! The #25 Turkey and Bacon is still my favorite, but I enjoy so many things on their menu that I would never get bored. That's pretty impressive since I worked there for 3 1/2 years! Welcome to The Training Table. May I take your order, please?
7. I am known by my friends as the one who knows of (and tries) all of the good treats on the market ... an obvious sign that I buy way too many goodies ;) If it has the words dark chocolate, mint, raspberry, lemon, sour, cinnamon or gummy in the title I have probably tried it!Okay, there's my seven! Hello! I actually "know" you from Jessica's online class. I tried to reply to you and thought the reply would be on the same page, however, it's like 2 pages past your comment and it's on there twice for some reason! I keep looking at the word "NEWBIE" by my name and I'm thinkin' hello- I know that and so does everyone else!! :) Do you know how to delete a thread? This is clearly all new to me! Kari, LOVE your blog! You have a way with words that just make yours fun to read! I can hear your voice as I read! And you're not biased, your kids really are that cute!
Your 7 things reminded me of so many fun memories. Do you remember how we used to take the bus to Training Table? I remember you walked home home from there one night because you couldn't find a ride and the buses were down for the night! Miss the cheese fries and dipping sauce!
