Here we go ...

Truth be told I started a blog a year and a half ago ... just after New Years. My first entry shared how a new year brings about changes and one thing I was going to change was making a better attempt at keeping in touch with people. That was the only entry!!! I've had such fun reading blogs that so many of my friends have started that I just had to try again. What a fun way to keep up with the lives of those that I love but rarely get to talk to. To those of you doing such a great job with your blogs ... THANK YOU! I'm not good at commenting (although that will change now that I'm a blogger *wink*) but I check them often and love to see what you and your families are up to! The other factor that pushed me into this is having a new baby and wanting to share all of the fun changes in our family with everyone without having to send "mass e-mails." Since our extended families are spread out I figured this would be an easier way to communicate what we are up to. My dear friend Tori came over to walk me through the set up so I could make it cute (of course). She was also supposed to teach me about the basics of "editing" the HTML codes to add links, pictures, videos, etc. Little did either of us know that Blogger has simplified this TREMENDOUSLY since my one blog entry! Now I can just copy and paste all of my goodies to share without having to learn another language!! So, welcome to my little blog. I hope you will enjoy reading about our rather mundane happenings as much I enjoy reading about all of the exciting things that you do!
