Week 2 Assignment

Well, our assignment on Monday was packed (again) with amazing tasks! We learned about correcting color casts on photos, practiced using lots of hotkeys that make working in Photoshop Elements much quicker and easier, learned to use a grungy edged mask on our focal photo, use a 4-square circular photo block, create reversed-out journaling blocks, darken paper edges using the burn tool, and recolor and blend an overlay. It really is amazing to write it out and remember all that I am learning. I decided to use some pictures from our Disneyland trip ... I've got over 400 so I need to start using them!! My goal is to complete an entire album and have it made into a hard bound book at Shutterfly. I don't know that I love the way the smaller photos fit into the circle template and I am tempted to go back and do one picture on top and one on bottom so you can see more of them, but for now I will post what I completed and call it good :)
